The Beyond theme links all the new Lineadeko collections by Studio Zero: beyond any veil, beyond any horizon there is an infinite world, real and imaginary, to be discovered in its unlimited and multiform variety. The starting point lies in the idea of creating visual suggestions that don’t restrict the view, but instead project it into a visionary and infinite reality, made up of memory and illusion.
Patterns, colors and shapes are the means for an abstract dimension that is beyond their physical essence: images expand, multiply in all directions, making us perceive the immensity and depth of the links we have with the physical world and with the inner world. The Paesaggi collection for example, a composition of delicate shades, turns into an expanse of abstract and lunar territories, made only of light and color, or in sand architecture like mirages in the desert. And yet Limen, in its indissoluble intertwining of lines, brings to mind beautiful jagged sediments of precious stones that move sinuously within the depths of the earth. Marbled rivers, crystal veins that glide over wooden surfaces enhancing them in a precious contrast: the living matter of wood shines through the natural patterns and shapes without being hidden and tells its nature, its substance.
Born from the collaboration between Inkiostro Bianco and Listone Giordano, the Lineadeko project includes numerous collections of artworks printed on wooden panels in two sizes, 60x60 and 60x120 cm. For this innovative project we have designed 6 collections of artworks, each characterized by a different graphic theme and by an incredible compositional flexibility: just by changing the layout scheme of the panels the final look of the wall changes completely.
